Day by Day
Arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport and continue to Chilaw (3–3.5 hours), visiting the Munneswaram and Manavari Temples, sacred sites associated with Lord Rama's prayers and blessings in the Ramayana. Unwind afterwards with an evening by Chilaw's coast before checking into a beachfront boutique hotel. Overnight in Chilaw.

Spend the morning relaxing by the beach in Chilaw before travelling to Kandy (3–3.5 hours) through scenic countryside, with small temple stops along the way if time allows. In the evening, visit the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic and stroll around Kandy Lake. Overnight in a heritage hotel in Kandy.

Travel to Nuwara Eliya through misty tea country (2.5–3 hours), stopping at Sri Bhakta Hanuman Temple in Ramboda, an important Ramayana site honouring Lord Hanuman, as well as Ramboda Falls and scenic viewpoints. Explore Nuwara Eliya's Gregory Lake and colonial streets before settling in. Overnight in Nuwara Eliya.

After a relaxed morning, visit Seetha Amman Temple in Ashok Vatika, believed to be linked to Goddess Sita's captivity in the Ramayana, with an optional stop at Hakgala Botanical Gardens. Travel back to Colombo (5–6 hours via scenic hill descent) and check into a city hotel. Overnight in Colombo.

Visit Kelaniya Raja Maha Vihara, a sacred site associated with Lord Buddha and commonly included on Ramayana pilgrimage extensions, before a final round of shopping in Colombo for souvenirs, gemstones, Ceylon tea and handicrafts to take home. Transfer to Bandaranaike International Airport for your onward departure flight.
