Arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport, with a Chinese-speaking guide available on request, and receive assistance with currency exchange. Transfer to Negombo and check in at the hotel, giving the whole family time to relax by the sea and settle in after the long journey. Overnight in Negombo.
Explore Negombo's Fish Market and St. Mary's Church before driving through the scenic countryside to Sigiriya (4–5 hours), stopping en route to visit the UNESCO-listed Dambulla Cave Temple. Check into a family-friendly nature resort surrounded by lakes and forests, with an evening of family dining amid wildlife-rich landscapes. Overnight in Sigiriya.
Climb the UNESCO-listed Sigiriya Rock Fortress, recommended for children aged six and up, or take the gentler Pidurangala Rock viewpoint.
